Young entrepreneurs Thibault Bekaert and Emmanuel Maertens (pictured) plan to open their new beer museum on the top floor of the historic post office on Bruges’ main square. The museum will focus on the history of brewing in Bruges, a town with a long brewing tradition. “We believe the museum will appeal to Belgians as well as tourists,” Bekaert told Het Nieuwsblad. Visitors will be given a tablet with information in several languages about the art of brewing and Bruges beer history. And of course there will be a special room dedicated to beer tasting.
