There’s no sign telling you when you’ve reached Verhaeghe brewery, just yards from the tiny two-platform railway station in the West Flemish town of Vichte. That’s perhaps because for locals, it needs no introduction. The brewery has been part of the village for generations, and the Verhaeghe family has been brewing on the same spot since Paul Verhaeghe founded the brewery in 1885.
