Closer to Heaven

Here’s something you may find surprising: There’s no such abbey as Chimay. Chimay is a town of fewer than 10,000 souls in the province of Hainaut in Belgium, due south of Brussels almost as far as you can go without hitting France.

The abbey that brews the beer, to give it its Sunday name, is the Abbey of Our Lady of Scourmont.
