The move to the new brewery will certainly come as a relief to brewmaster Hans, too, who has been at the helm here for the past 27 years. He has watched Van Honsebrouck evolve, and contributed to its success with the introduction of many new beers (more on that later).

The growth rate has been nothing less than impressive and can be largely
attributed to former CEO, Luc Van Honsebrouck, who took over the brewery in 1953 and ran it until his retirement in 2008 (at the ripe age of 79).
